Bob Bonner

President

Bob Bonner graduated from California Lutheran College in 1969.  In 1971 he moved to Seattle.

He graduated from Highline College’s Respiratory Care Program in 1975. He was the Employee of the Year at Harborview Medical Center in 1977.

He attended the UofW and obtained his master’s degree in education in 1981 then served as a faculty member in Highline’s College’s Respiratory Care Program for 38 years.

He has held multiple positions in the Respiratory Care Society of Washington. He retired in June 2016 and now lives in Des Moines.

Darrell Bryant, BSRT RRT

Darrell is a Graduate of the U.S. Army respiratory therapy program in 1991. And recently finished his BSRT through St. Louis College for Health Careers.

Darrell has worked in many areas of respiratory care over the last 30+ years. Currently the Manager of Respiratory Therapy at Providence St. Luke’s since 2018.

Volunteered with veteran and respiratory non-profit organizations off and on for the last 20 years.

Currently Director at Large for the Respiratory Care Society of Washington, and an ambassador for the nationwide veteran organization Mission 22.

Phillip H. Gainey IV, CFA

Treasurer

Phillip works as a Strategic Finance Manager at Providence, empowering executives, operators, and physicians with financial insights and developing strategic plans around smart growth opportunities. Phillip has worked in various finance and strategy roles at Providence for more than 8 years.

Prior to his time in healthcare, Phillip worked on Wall Street in equity research, influencing investment opinions of money managers and institutional investors globally. He also taught accounting, valuation, and financial modeling courses and lectured on advanced investment topics at the Harvard Business School and various conferences and engagements ranging from CFA Institute luncheons to The Annual SEC Reporting Institute Conference.

Phillip holds his MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School, is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and serves as the Treasurer / Financial Advisor of multiple non-profit organizations including the Respiratory Care Society of Washington.

Chris Henshaw, EdD, RN, NPD-BC

Chris is a lifelong nurse and educator, with a background in critical care, med-surg, and long-term care nursing.

Chris has served in nursing faculty and administrator roles in colleges and universities and has been a professional development specialist in a tertiary hospital, supporting new and experienced critical care nurses.

Chris currently serves as president of King County Nurses Association. Chris carries a deep respect for the expertise of respiratory care practitioners and considers it an honor to serve on this board.

Jerry Luedke

Jerry Luedke graduated from Seattle Central Community College "Inhalation Therapy Technician" program in 197 1. He then graduated from Highline Community College Respiratory Care Program in 1973. He was employed as a Respiratory Therapist at Harborview Medical Center until 1978. Then as Manager of Cardio-Pulmonary Services at Valley Medical Center until 1996. Jerry retired as a staff therapist from the University of Washington in 2019. He served on multiple committees and elected positions within the RCSW. He also served on a variety of AARC committees and elected positions.

Gary Wickman, MSc, RRT, FAARC

Bachelor’s Degree, Biology Illinois Wesleyan University, 1972. Respiratory Care Degree, Skagit Valley College, 1984. MSc Degree, Respiratory Care Leadership, Northeastern University, 2016

AARC and RCSW Member since 1983. Served in most positions for the RCSW. Delegate from RCSW for 2 terms. AARC Board Member. Served on many committees for both the RCSW and the AARC. Current Chair, Government Affairs Committee, RCSW. Member, Government Affairs Committee, AARC. PACT fly in, Washington, DC for 22 years

Worked at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, 1984 to 2016. Started as a bedside RCP, worked into leadership in the department. Clinical Director, Cardiac and Pulmonary Services. Director of Cardiac and Pulmonary Services Lines. Retired in September 2016. Joined Seattle Central College in 2016. Educator in the Health Care Leadership Bachelor’s Program. Retired in June 2020. Continue to volunteer for the RCSW and other political groups

Married for 46 years. Have 4 children and 9 grandchildren. Love hiking and biking

Eric Anderson

Eric Anderson graduated from Highline Community College Respiratory Care Program in 1977. He was employed as a Respiratory Therapist at Valley Medical Center until 1982, Supervisor at St.Joseph Hospital until 1987 and Director of Cardio-Pulmonary Services Harrison Medical Center until 2010. He finished his 42-year career as Quality Director at Advanced Lifeline Respiratory Services and retired at the end of 2017.

Eric served on multiple committees and elected positions within the RCSW. He also served on a variety of AARC committees and elected positions.

Eric lives in Bremerton with his wife Janet of 45 years. He has 3 sons and 7 grandkids. He enjoys growing and hybridizing dahlias, crabbing, shrimping and fishing.
